This Smith Haut Lafitte 2012, born on the gravels of Pessac-Léognan, blends red fruits, spices and minerality through barrel aging. The palate, fresh and balanced, reveals silky tannins and a long finish. Ideal for 10 to 15 years of cellaring, it pairs beautifully with red meats and cheeses.
A family estate rooted at the heart of Pessac-Léognan, Smith Haut Lafitte combines Bordeaux heritage with innovation respectful of the terroir.
- Terroir: Deep gravels and gravelly soils of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, endowing the wines with a chalky minerality and taut elegance.
- Vinification: Barrel aging, extended maceration and plot selection for precise cuvées, where freshness and structure are in balance.
