From the clay-limestone soils of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the La Charmotte 2019 from Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair is a barrel-aged Pinot Noir. Red fruits, spice and minerality combine for a silky, fresh palate. Perfect with duck or game, to be enjoyed through 2035.

Tasting notes for Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair Nuits-Saint-Georges La Charmotte 2019
To the eye: Deep garnet robe with ruby reflections, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry and fresh violet, followed by notes of undergrowth and a saline touch, evoking the calcareous soils of the terroir.
On the palate: Lively and precise attack, silky tannins, mineral tension and a long finish carried by a delicate salinity.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
