Tasting notes for Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Le Clos du Prieuré 2014
To the eye: Ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky density and crystalline clarity.
On the nose: Aromas of fresh morello cherry, wild blackberry and violet, lifted by a hint of liquorice and a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: Velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and taut minerality, with a long, precise finish where gentle spices and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
