Trévallon 2022 from the Alpilles blends Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grown on limestone soils. Aromas of garrigue and black olives; aged 24 months in barrels. Balanced on the palate, with fine tannins and pronounced minerality. Decant and pair with Mediterranean dishes; aging potential of 30 years.
Founded by Éloi Dürrbach in the heart of the Alpilles in 1973, this estate embodies a demanding vision of Provençal wine, combining respect for the terroir with artisanal expertise.
- Terroir: Stony limestone and clay soils at the foot of the Alpilles—a mineral setting that gives the wines their tension and purity.
- Winemaking: Traditional methods without unnecessary additives, followed by extended barrel aging to reveal the complexity of the grape varieties.
