The Savart estate is located 10 kilometres west of Reims, in Écueil, a premier cru of the Montagne de Reims, and Frédéric Savart passionately took over his father's vineyard, composed of 4 ha of Pinot Noir with a little Chardonnay. At the Savart estate, young, aromatic, fruity and taut Champagne wines are crafted, with quite nuanced varietal expression. Starting from the principle that the best wine is made using the best grapes, Frédéric Savart pays particular attention to vineyard work and winemaking, which are carried out with respect for the terroir and the grape. Thus, Frédéric Savart follows principles close to organic farming and has chosen to produce lightly dosed cuvées, resulting in taut and nuanced Champagnes supported by a vinous structure.

In his Champagnes, of great quality, one finds a beautiful expression of nature. Savart Champagnes include 8 cuvées: L'Ouverture, Le Mont des Chrétiens, Le Mont Benoît, L'Accomplie, Les Noues, L'Expression Nature, L'Expression Rosé Nature, and Bulle de Rosé. The L'Ouverture cuvée is a Premier Cru Champagne harvested exclusively from Ecueil and Villiers-aux-Noeuds. The grape variety is 100% Pinot Noir, and this non-vintage brut has a perfect dosage. It delivers very beautiful fruity notes, and on the palate, it offers remarkable complexity. L'Accomplie is 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, with half the wines aged in oak barrels. On the nose, exotic fruits and soft spices are the dominant features of this wine, whose palate is silky and elegant. The vinous character of the Pinot Noir aged under woodland finds resonance with the Chardonnays that stretch the substance. It is a great success, with production limited to 8,000 bottles. The blanc de noirs Champagne Mont Benoît cuvée, made predominantly from great Pinot Noirs, is one of the flagship wines of the domaine's range, and its ageing in demi-muids (600-litre barrels) underscores its vinosity, making it a great Fine Wine. Finally, the rosé Champagne Bulle de Rosé by Frédéric Savart is an indulgent cuvée, full of power and complexity, aged in oak barrels to enhance its complexity. Pinot Noir dominates at over 80%, complemented by Chardonnay. The colour is rose petal, and on the nose one can distinguish harmonious notes of stewed red berries. On the palate, it is a Champagne of superb structure, supported by a vinous touch, yet always enhanced by a pleasant, lingering fruitiness. A powerful Champagne that has retained its elegant style.
