The 4 ha Ruppert Leroy family estate, established in the Aube, in the south of Champagne (Côte des Bar), continues to draw attention with its single-vineyard champagnes of extreme precision. Bénédicte Ruppert and Emmanuel Leroy have experienced a spectacular rise since the Ruppert Leroy estate began producing champagnes under the name Champagne Ruppert Leroy in 2010, following the takeover of Bénédicte's parents' vines in 2009. The couple obtained organic certification in 2013 and then confirmed their conversion to biodynamics from 2014 onwards with the Demeter label.

The Champagne Ruppert Leroy range is composed of a few white Champagne brut nature cuvées: Champagne Ruppert Leroy Fosse Grely, Ruppert Leroy Papillon, Ruppert Leroy Martin Fontaine and Ruppert Leroy Les Cognaux, crafted from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the flagship grape varieties of the neighbouring region, Burgundy. Ruppert Leroy also offers a saignée rosé Champagne, 100% Pinot Noir, and the new cuvée Ruppert Leroy 11, 12, 13... a perpetual blend of vintages since 2011 (currently complemented by 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016). Located just a few kilometres from Chablis, the confidential production of Champagne Ruppert Leroy (barely 20,000 bottles) achieves an incredible balance thanks to a naturally present vivacity and the pursuit of a vinous style. One important rule at Domaine Ruppert Leroy: a great deal of attention, very little intervention. The Champagnes from Maison Ruppert Leroy are very lightly filtered, with as little added sulphite as possible — if any at all.
