The Benoît Marguet Ambonnay Grand Cru 2019, from the chalky soils of Ambonnay, is a biodynamic champagne fermented in barrels. Notes of red fruits, chalky minerality and smokiness. Saline and silky palate, lively and precise. Perfect until 2030 with lobster or truffles.
A family estate rooted in the prestigious Grand Cru village of Ambonnay, where biodynamics and respect for the chalky terroir shape champagnes of rare purity.
- Terroir : Chalky soils of Ambonnay, Grand Cru of the Montagne de Reims, where Pinot Noir and Chardonnay flourish under a temperate continental climate.
- Vinification : Traditional method, fermentation in oak barrels and aging on lees, without added sulfur, for lively and mineral cuvées.

- On the eye : Golden robe with green highlights, fine and persistent bubbles forming a silky stream, revealing an unctuous texture and a beautiful tension.
- On the nose : Aromas of ripe red fruits – black cherry, raspberry – followed by notes of toasted brioche, chalky minerals and a saline touch, evoking the deep soils of Ambonnay.
- On the palate : A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a saline minerality, while silky tannins from oak aging bring an elegant structure and a long, almost saline finish.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a champagne flute or a white wine glass to fully release its aromas.
Vintage 2019
A vintage marked by a hot summer, offering grapes of optimal ripeness and a remarkable aromatic concentration, while preserving a characteristic mineral freshness.
- Aging potential : Best kept 8 to 12 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light, to allow the wine to develop its complexity while retaining its vivacity.
