Château Calon-Ségur

To the eye: A garnet red robe with tawny reflections, of a silky density and a brilliance subtly patinated by time.
On the nose: Aromas of candied blackcurrant, cedar and blonde tobacco, lifted by a hint of damp undergrowth and a subtle iodine-tinged saltiness.
On the palate: A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a melted tannic structure, leading to a long, chalky finish of persistent elegance.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully express its character.
