The Calon Ségur 2006 (Château Calon-Ségur, Saint-Estèphe) is born from Médoc gravels and clays. A blend of Merlot (33%), Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, it delivers notes of cherry and kirsch, aged in new oak barrels. Silky texture, chalky minerality. Ideal through 2045 with game and cheeses.
Nestled in the heart of Saint-Estèphe, this historic estate embodies the timeless elegance of the great wines of the Médoc, combining tradition and precision.
- Terroir : Deep Quaternary gravels over a clay subsoil, lending the wines a mineral structure and characteristic tension.
- Vinification : Meticulous blending, aging in new oak barrels, and hand-harvesting to preserve the purity of the fruit and aromatic complexity.
