The Chavost Rosé de Saignée Brut Nature, from the clay-limestone hillsides of Champagne, blends Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This natural wine, without sulfites or dosage, captivates with its red fruits, freshness and minerality. Vinified in stainless steel, it combines elegance and precision to accompany dishes.
Nestled in Chavot-Courcourt, this family estate has perpetuated since 1946 an artisanal know-how, where respect for the clay-limestone terroir guides every cuvée.
- Terroir : Chalky soils of Champagne, fifty-year-old vines – a mineral and precise signature.
- Vinification : Traditional method without compromise – no dosage, no sulfites, just the purity of fruit and time.
Tasting notes for Chavost Rosé de Saignée Brut Nature
To the eye – A deep rosy robe, with a silky and vibrant texture, like a reflection of chalk on peach skin.
On the nose – Freshness of redcurrant and crushed raspberry, followed by deeper notes of black cherry and faded rose, lifted by a salty touch reminiscent of sea spray.
On the palate – A lively and taut attack, where chiseled acidity meets chalky minerality, leading to a long, saline and almost iodine-tinged finish.
Serve between 8 and 10°C, in a slender flute to preserve its tension.
Non-vintage
A blend cuvée where each lot, drawn from carefully selected harvests, expresses the consistency of a brut nature style.
- Aging potential : 5 to 8 years, store away from light and temperature variations.
