The Richebourg Grand Cru 2023 from Domaine Anne Gros, from Vosne-Romanée, expresses the purity of Pinot Noir. Aged in barrels (30% new), it offers cherry, liquorice and a floral touch, with a velvety palate and vibrant minerality. Perfect from 2030 with red meats or aged cheeses.
Nestled in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, this family estate perpetuates a viticultural heritage where precision and respect for the terroir guide each cuvée.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, cradle of the Burgundian Grand Crus, where Pinot Noir expresses its full nobility.
- Vinification: A delicate approach – destemming, gentle fermentation and barrel ageing (30% new) to preserve the purity of the fruit and the chalky minerality.
Tasting notes for Domaine Anne Gros Richebourg Grand Cru 2023
To the eye: A deep garnet red robe, of silky density, where light dances with an almost liquid elegance.
On the nose: First, aromas of black cherry and wild blackberry, followed by notes of violet and liquorice, before a saline touch comes to underline the chalky minerality of the terroir.
On the palate: A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and mineral tension, extending into a long and precise finish where soft spices and ripe fruits intertwine.
Serve at 14-16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
