The Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 2018 Magnum from Domaine Etienne Sauzet, grown on clay-limestone soils, offers aromas of citrus and flowers. This Chardonnay, aged in barrels, captivates with its fresh and mineral palate. To be cellared for 10 to 15 years, it pairs beautifully with shellfish and noble fish.
Nestled in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet, this family estate embodies the excellence of Burgundy's great white wines, shaped by an exceptional terroir and a philosophy rooted in respect for nature.
- Terroir : The vines take root in the chalky and marly soils of the Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru appellation, where the chalky minerality and altitude lend the wines a unique tension and purity.
- Vinification : Aged in oak barrels, with minimal intervention to preserve the natural freshness of the Chardonnay, and a slow fermentation that reveals the complexity of the terroir.

- On the nose : Aromas of candied lemon, acacia blossom and fresh hazelnut, underlined by a saline touch and a chalky minerality that evokes the limestone soils of Puligny-Montrachet.
- On the palate : A lively and taut attack, carried by an elegant acidity and a smooth texture, where notes of citrus, gunflint and a long, saline finish mingle, marked by a mineral persistence.

Vintage 2018
A generous yet balanced vintage, where the summer heat ripened the grapes without diminishing their freshness, yielding white wines of great tension and fine depth.
- Aging potential : To be cellared for 10 to 15 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C) and away from light, to allow the wine to develop its full complexity.
