The Grand Cru 2018 from Domaine Ramonet, sourced from the clay-limestone soils of Chevalier-Montrachet, captivates with its notes of white peach and lime. Aged in barrels, it combines roundness and vivacity. Best enjoyed with scallops, it will continue to improve until 2035.
Nestled in the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet since the 1920s, this family estate embodies the excellence of great white Burgundy wines, combining tradition and precision.
- Terroir : Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Chevalier-Montrachet appellation, where the Chardonnay draws its legendary minerality.
- Winemaking : Aged in oak barrels, with respect for the fruit and a pursuit of pure tension, the signature of a style that is both powerful and elegant.
Tasting notes for Domaine Ramonet Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 2018
To the eye – A pale gold robe with green highlights, of silky clarity, heralding an unctuous and precise texture.
On the nose – Aromas of white peach and candied lemon intertwine with notes of acacia blossom, before giving way to a saline and chalky touch, the signature of the terroir.
On the palate – A lively and taut attack, carried by a crystalline acidity, unfolds into a rich and mineral body, leading to a long and saline finish where a mineral elegance lingers.
Serve between 12 and 14°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.

A sunny and generous vintage, where the ripeness of the grapes combines with preserved freshness, offering a perfect balance between richness and tension.
- Aging potential : To be cellared for 10 to 15 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
