Tasting notes for Château Gazin Gazin 1975
To the eye – A garnet red robe with tawny reflections, dense and slightly veiled by time, revealing a silky texture and generous substance.
On the nose – Aromas of candied blackberry, black cherry, fresh truffle and blonde tobacco, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of aged leather.
On the palate – A velvety attack, carried by melted tannins and a lively acidity, unfolding notes of liquorice, cocoa and a long, persistent mineral finish.
Serve at 61°F in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
