Tasting notes for Château Gazin Gazin 2007
To the eye – A garnet red robe with tawny highlights, of a silky density, revealing a harmonious maturity.
On the nose – Aromas of wild blackberry, stewed prune, cedar and blonde tobacco, underlined by a chalky touch and a subtle salinity.
On the palate – A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a discreet minerality, stretching into a long, spiced finish where licorice and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
