To the eye: A garnet-red robe with brick-tinted reflections, dense and slightly veiled by time, revealing a smooth texture and generous substance.
On the nose: First, aromas of candied black cherries and prunes, followed by notes of damp undergrowth, aged leather and a saline touch evoking the gravel of the terroir.
On the palate: A velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and chalky minerality, leading to a long, slightly spiced finish where melted tannins and memories of ripe fruit intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
