Château Gruaud Larose
A historic estate rooted in the heart of Saint-Julien, where the winemaking heritage has been passed down since 1725.
- Terroir: Deep Quaternary gravels on the banks of the Garonne, imparting a chalky minerality and structured elegance to the wines.
- Vinification: Bordeaux-style blend aged in French oak barrels, combining tradition and precision to produce cuvées that are both powerful and silky.

To the eye – Ruby robe with tawny highlights, of a silky density, betraying a maturity patinated by time.
On the nose – Aromas of candied dark fruits, star anise and liquorice, followed by hints of blonde tobacco, damp cedar and a saline minerality reminiscent of the terroir's gravels.
On the palate – Velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and mineral tension, with well-integrated yet persistent tannins, and a long finish with notes of woodland undergrowth and gentle spices.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
