To the eye – Garnet robe with tiled reflections, dense and slightly veiled by time, revealing a silky texture and a generous substance.
On the nose – Aromas of candied blackcurrant, cedar, blond tobacco and undergrowth, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of graphite.
On the palate – Velvety attack, smooth but still present tannins, balanced by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality; long and persistent finish, marked by notes of liquorice and gentle spices.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.
