Tasting notes for Château Gruaud Larose Sarget de Gruaud Larose 1992
To the eye – A deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, dense and almost opaque, betraying a generous substance and a silky texture.
On the nose – Aromas of wild blackberry and fresh blackcurrant intertwine with notes of cedar, blonde tobacco, and a saline touch, evoking the damp undergrowth of the Médoc.
On the palate – A round and fleshy attack, carried by a lively acidity and a velvety tannic structure, giving way to a long and mineral finish, where gentle spices and candied dark fruits intermingle.
Serve at 16°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
