Sourced from the gravelly soils of Saint-Julien, the Sarget de Gruaud Larose 1992 marries Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (30%). Its notes of blackcurrant and spices, its velvety texture, and its mineral freshness make it an ideal companion for red meats or cheeses.

Tasting notes for Château Gruaud Larose Sarget de Gruaud Larose 1992
To the eye – A deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, dense and almost opaque, betraying a generous substance and a silky texture.
On the nose – Aromas of wild blackberry and fresh blackcurrant intertwine with notes of cedar, blonde tobacco, and a saline touch, evoking the damp undergrowth of the Médoc.
On the palate – A round and fleshy attack, carried by a lively acidity and a velvety tannic structure, giving way to a long and mineral finish, where gentle spices and candied dark fruits intermingle.
Serve at 16°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

- Aging potential – To drink now or to keep until 2030 under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
