The Larmandier-Bernier Latitude Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut, born on the chalky hillsides of Vertus, is a 100% Chardonnay cuvée. With 40% reserve wines, it combines freshness and complexity. Notes of citrus, chalky minerality and a precise texture. Ideal with oysters, to be enjoyed until 2028.
Family estate rooted in Vertus, at the heart of the Côte des Blancs, where Chardonnay flourishes on chalky soils.
- Terroir: Limestone soils of Vertus, south-facing, conferring a distinctive minerality and an elegant tension on the wines.
- Winemaking: Organic method, with a perpetual reserve to enrich complexity without altering the purity of the fruit.
Tasting notes for Larmandier-Bernier Latitude Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut
On the eye: Pale golden robe of crystalline clarity, animated by a fine and persistent effervescence.
On the nose: Aromas of white flowers and crisp apple intertwine with notes of toasted brioche, before giving way to a saline and chalky touch.
On the palate: Silky texture and lively acidity, carried by a chalky minerality that stretches into a long and taut finish, marked by a delicate salinity.
Serve between 8 and 10°C, in a champagne flute to preserve the freshness and aromas.
