A family estate rooted in the hillsides of Jonquières, Mas Jullien has embodied a commitment to an authentic, vibrant Languedoc since 1985.
- Terroir: Limestone gravel and clay-limestone scree soils on the hillsides of the Hérault, where minerality is expressed clearly.
- Winemaking: Hand harvesting, native yeasts, and aging in old large oak casks preserve the purity of the fruit and the tension of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Mas Jullien Blanc de Raisins blancs 2023
In the glass – A pale yellow color with golden highlights, crystalline clarity, and a silky texture that already hints at its precision.
On the nose – Aromas of vineyard peach and Williams pear unfold against a floral backdrop (white flowers, linden blossom), enhanced by notes of candied citrus, a saline touch, and fresh almond that adds depth.
On the palate – Generous breadth held in focus by chalky minerality, with quince, bitter orange zest, and acacia honey, all lifted by vibrant acidity and a remarkably long, saline finish.
Serve between 9 and 11°C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to release its nuances.
