The Château Pape Clément 2014 Double Magnum 3L, Grand Cru Classé de Graves, is born from the gravelly soils of Pessac-Léognan. This 2014, aged in barrels, combines dark fruits, spices and cedar with silky tannins and a mineral freshness. Perfect with red meats or game, it can be cellared until 2035.

Tasting notes for Château Pape Clément 2014 Double Magnum
In the glass: Deep purple robe with garnet reflections, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of wild blackberry, candied blackcurrant, cedar and blonde tobacco, lifted by a touch of graphite and a subtle chalky salinity.
On the palate: Velvety and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a stony minerality, with a long and persistent finish marked by notes of liquorice and gentle spices.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.
