This blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot flourishes on gravel and clay terroir in a mild climate. The 1990 vintage, blessed by a sunny summer, offers sumptuous richness, rated 96/100. Aged 22 months in new oak barrels, it reveals a sumptuous structure. On tasting, it offers aromas of black fruits, truffles, tobacco and smoky notes, with a mineral finish. Its silky texture and velvety tannins lead to a persistent finish.
