Château Pape Clément
A legendary estate, rooted in the Graves since the 13th century, where history and terroir unite to shape wines of a rare elegance.

Tasting notes for the wine Château Pape Clément 1992
To the eye: A garnet-red robe with tawny highlights, of a silky density, betraying a harmonious ripeness and a velvety texture.
On the nose: Aromas of wild blackberry and candied black cherry, lifted by notes of blonde tobacco, cedar and a saline touch of graphite, evoking the depth of the gravelly soils.
On the palate: A round and generous attack, carried by melted yet precise tannins, a lively acidity that brings tension, and a long finish marked by nuances of liquorice and cocoa, on a chalky mineral base.
Serve at 16°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

An early and sun-drenched vintage, where the mild climate allowed the grapes to reach optimal ripeness, offering a wine accessible from its youth while retaining a beautiful structure.
