The Thomas Batardière Les Cocus 2022, a Chenin Blanc from Faye-d'Anjou, reveals a terroir of clay and volcanic schist. A family estate rooted in the heart of the Loire Valley, where respect for the terroir and natural methods shapes wines of rare purity.
- Terroir: Clay and volcanic schist in Faye-d'Anjou, on wind-swept slopes with a south-west exposure, conferring a distinctive minerality to the cuvées.

On the eye: Golden robe with pale highlights, of a silky and luminous texture, like a ray of sunlight captured in the glass.
On the nose: Aromas of soft lemon and crisp apple intertwine with notes of golden honey and white flowers, lifted by a saline and chalky touch, the signature of the volcanic terroir.
On the palate: A lively and taut attack, carried by an elegant acidity and a persistent minerality, giving way to a long and nervy finish, where freshness and depth intertwine.
Serve between 10 and 12°C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
