To the eye: Garnet robe with tawny highlights, of silky density and velvety brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe morello cherry, wilted violet, damp undergrowth and liquorice, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of black truffle.
On the palate: A smooth and fleshy texture, underpinned by a lively acidity and chalky minerality, with a long and persistent finish marked by notes of cocoa and gentle spices.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
