The Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru 2005, from Domaine Trapet Père et Fils, is born on a clay-limestone plot in Gevrey-Chambertin (vines from 1938). This Pinot Noir aged under oak seduces with its notes of dark fruits, spices and chalky minerality. To be enjoyed until 2030 with red meats or aged cheeses.
A family estate rooted in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, where the Burgundian heritage is passed down with exacting standards and respect for the terroir.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, cradle of the Grand Crus, where Pinot Noir expresses its minerality and depth.
- Vinification: Biodynamic approach, aged in oak barrels for a pure expression and elegant structure.
Tasting notes for Domaine Trapet Père et Fils Latricières-Chambertin 2005
To the eye: Garnet robe with brick-red highlights, of silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe morello cherry, faded violet, soft liquorice and undergrowth, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of roasted cocoa.
On the palate: Velvety texture, well-integrated yet present tannins, lively acidity and chalky minerality, leading to a long, taut finish marked by notes of truffle and soft spices.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to unlock its full complexity.

A vintage of ripeness and balance, where the summer heat allowed for rare aromatic concentration without sacrificing freshness.
- Aging potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
