The Domaine Duroché Latricières-Chambertin 2017, a Grand Cru from Gevrey-Chambertin, is born on limestone soils. This unfiltered Pinot Noir reveals notes of red fruits, blackcurrant and a chalky minerality. Its silky and lively palate promises excellent aging potential. Perfect with game.
Nestled in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, this family estate has been perpetuating a winemaking heritage since 1933, where respect for the terroir takes precedence.
- Terroir: crinoidal limestone soils and alluvial deposits from the Côte de Nuits, the birthplace of Burgundy's most mineral Grand Crus.
- Vinification: a low-interventionist approach, where the precision of the tannins and the purity of the fruit express themselves with elegance.
Tasting notes for Domaine Duroché Latricières-Chambertin 2017
To the eye: a deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: aromas of black cherry and fresh blackcurrant intertwine with notes of damp undergrowth, lifted by a saline touch and a chalky minerality.
On the palate: a lively and precise attack, carried by silky tannins and a taut acidity, giving way to a long, mineral finish where gentle spices and ripe fruits intertwine.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
