The Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru 1999 from Domaine Arlaud reveals the soul of the clay-chalk soils of Morey-Saint-Denis. This Pinot Noir seduces with its notes of ripe fruit and spices, a silky texture and precise minerality. Perfect with duck breast or a cheese board.

A family estate rooted in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, where tradition and respect for the terroir have been passed down through generations.

Tasting notes for Domaine Arlaud Clos Saint-Denis 1999
To the eye – A ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky density.
On the nose – First aromas of black cherry and wild blackberry, followed by notes of liquorice, damp undergrowth and a saline touch reminiscent of flint stones.
On the palate – A smooth yet taut texture, driven by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long finish where gentle spices and candied fruit intertwine.
Serve at 14-16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by an ideal climatic balance, yielding structured wines of immediate elegance.
- Ageing potential: At its peak between 2004 and 2010, this wine keeps gracefully in a cool, humid cellar, away from vibrations.
