The Château Cheval Blanc 2003, Premier Grand Cru Classé A of Saint-Émilion, draws its character from a terroir of gravel and sand. A blend of Cabernet Franc (60%) and Merlot, aged 18 months in new barrels, it seduces with aromas of violet and blackcurrant, and a silky, mineral palate. To be savoured until 2028 with lamb or aged cheeses.

To the eye – A deep, dense and luminous ruby robe, where a silky and generous texture reveals itself.
On the nose – A bouquet where fresh violet, ripe blackcurrant, a touch of liquorice and a subtle chalky minerality intertwine.
On the palate – A velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a precise tannic structure, giving way to a long, saline finish.
Serve at 16°C in a Bordeaux glass to reveal its full purity.
