Tasting notes for Domaine Denis Bachelet Gevrey-Chambertin Les Evocelles 2023
To the eye – A deep ruby robe with a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose – First aromas of morello cherry and fresh raspberry, followed by a hint of violet and undergrowth, before a subtle chalky note underlines the terroir's minerality.
On the palate – A lively and precise attack, where the acidic tension blends with a fleshy yet elegant texture, carried by fine tannins and a saline finish of remarkable length.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2023
A vintage where freshness and balance come together, offering a vibrant expression of Pinot Noir from this high-altitude terroir.
- Ageing potential : To be enjoyed now for its vibrant fruit, or cellared for 5 to 8 years in a cool, humid cellar to allow its mineral nuances to fully blossom.
