The Bourgogne 2023 rouge from Domaine Denis Bachelet, sourced from the hillsides of Gevrey-Chambertin, is a precise and elegant Pinot Noir. Vinified in barrels, it captivates with its notes of cherry, silky texture and mineral freshness. Ideal with poultry, to enjoy now or within 3 to 5 years.
Nestled at the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, this family estate embodies the rigour and finesse of the great wines of Burgundy. A signature in which the terroir speaks with precision.
- Terroir : 4.28 hectares in the Côte de Nuits, clay-limestone soils and Burgundian climate – the perfect alliance for Pinot Noir of rare elegance.
- Winemaking : Traditional methods, complete destemming, ageing in oak barrels and absolute respect for the fruit – a philosophy in which human intervention yields to the purity of the grape.
Tasting notes for the Domaine Denis Bachelet Bourgogne 2023 red wine
- Appearance : A clear ruby robe of silky transparency, where light dances with a mineral delicacy.
- On the nose : First, notes of morello cherry and fresh raspberry, followed by a touch of violet and gentle spices, before concluding on a subtle chalky salinity.
- On the palate : A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and elegant tension, where the fine tannins stretch into a long, saline finish, reminiscent of the limestone soils of Burgundy.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
