The Charmes-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2019 from Domaine Denis Bachelet, sourced from century-old vines (1907–1917), is a Pinot Noir of rare elegance. Aged in barrels (50% new), it offers aromas of cherry and violet, a mineral touch and a silky palate. Perfect with roast pigeon, it can be cellared for 10 to 15 years.
A family estate rooted in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, where Burgundian tradition is passed down with rigor and passion.
- Terroir : Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of Burgundy's grand crus, shaping wines of rare minerality and elegance.
- Vinification : Artisanal methods – total destemming, indigenous yeasts, aging in carefully selected barrels – to reveal the purity of the Pinot Noir.

- On the nose : Aromas of black cherry and fresh blackcurrant, followed by floral notes of peony and violet, then an earthy and mineral touch, almost saline, evoking the Burgundian undergrowth.
