Tasting notes for the wine Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Petits Monts 2019
In the glass: a deep ruby robe of silky density, where light dances with a velvety intensity.
On the nose: aromas of fresh black cherry and tangy raspberry, followed by notes of violet and liquorice, before a saline and chalky touch that heralds the complexity of the terroir.
On the palate: a silky texture, carried by a lively acidity and taut minerality, stretching into a long, precise finish where gentle spices and ripe fruits intertwine.
Serving temperature: 14–16°C – Burgundy glass to capture all its finesse.
Vintage 2019
A vintage defined by balance, where the summer heat ripened the grapes without diminishing their freshness, yielding wines of great precision.
- Aging potential: 15 to 20 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
