The Romanée-Conti 2013 Assortment, from the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, celebrates the Burgundian terroirs. These Pinot Noirs, aged in barrels, reveal notes of cherry, violet and spices. Their velvety, mineral palate with balanced freshness improves over 15 to 30 years. Pairings: red meats and aged cheeses.
A legendary estate, rooted in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, where each plot tells the story of Burgundian terroir excellence.
- Terroir: clay-limestone and marly soils, shaped by the Grands Crus of Burgundy, where Pinot Noir flourishes with rare intensity.
- Vinification: a meticulous approach, combining tradition and precision, to reveal the purity and complexity of the great wines of Burgundy.
Tasting notes for the wine Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Assortiment 2013
To the eye: a deep red robe with garnet reflections, of silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: aromas of black cherry, violet and liquorice, lifted by a hint of undergrowth and a chalky minerality evoking the estate's limestone soils.
On the palate: a velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and elegant tension, where ripe fruits, soft spices and a remarkably long saline finish intertwine.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to fully appreciate its complexity.
