Born on the clay-limestone terroirs of Vosne-Romanée, the Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru 2011 from the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is a Pinot Noir aged in oak barrels. It combines red fruits, violets and a chalky minerality on the palate. To be enjoyed until 2060, it is a perfect match for game and noble dishes.

Tasting notes for Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-Saint-Vivant 2011
To the eye – A deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, silky in texture and crystalline in brilliance.
On the nose – An airy bouquet where morello cherry, violet petals, a hint of damp undergrowth and a subtle chalky note intertwine, evoking the vineyard's limestone soils.
On the palate – A velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a saline minerality, while fine tannins and a lingering finish draw a harmony between grace and structure.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to enhance its aromas.
