The Chambolle-Musigny 2016 from Dujac Fils et Père, sourced from organic vines on limestone soils, is a Pinot Noir of great finesse. Aged in barrels, it reveals aromas of red fruits and spices. Its silky, mineral palate pairs beautifully with game or cheeses through 2030.
Domaine Dujac
Nestled in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, this family estate has embodied craftsmanship and the transmission of artisanal expertise since 1968.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny appellations, where Pinot Noir reveals its finesse and minerality.
- Vinification: A natural approach – manual harvesting, indigenous yeasts and ageing in oak barrels – for wines of remarkable purity and tension.

Tasting notes for Domaine Dujac Fils et Père Chambolle-Musigny 2016
To the eye: A garnet red robe with ruby highlights, of a silky and luminous density, heralding a wine both generous and precise.
On the nose: A bouquet blending fresh red fruits (morello cherry, raspberry), floral notes of peony, a spiced touch of white pepper and a subtle chalky minerality, evoking the limestone soils of Chambolle.
On the palate: A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and saline tension, where aromas of black cherry and liquorice unfold, leading to a long, elegant finish marked by a touch of graphite.
Serve between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to enhance its complexity.
Vintage 2016
A vintage marked by balanced ripeness and preserved freshness, yielding wines of great precision and beautiful energy.
- Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature between 12 and 14°C, controlled humidity).
