Domaine Duroché
A family estate rooted in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, where five generations of expertise are passed down to reveal the soul of Burgundy's finest terroirs.
- Terroir : Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Nuits, where Premier Cru plots such as Lavaux Saint-Jacques express a chalky minerality and structured elegance.
- Vinification : A precise and respectful approach, blending tradition and modernity to produce taut, fruity wines of great purity.
Tasting notes for Domaine Duroché Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques 2022
- To the eye : Deep purple robe with garnet highlights, of a silky texture and crystalline brilliance that heralds its tension.
- On the nose : Aromas of morello cherry and fresh blueberry intertwine with notes of black pepper, liquorice, and a mineral hint reminiscent of flint.
- On the palate : A lively and juicy attack, where red and blue fruits unfold over a chalky tannic framework, carried by a precise acidity and a long, lingering saline finish.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.

A generous and balanced vintage, where cool nights and ripe grapes allowed the full finesse of the Lavaux Saint-Jacques terroir to be expressed.
