The Emmanuel Rouget Echézeaux 2017, a Grand Cru from the eponymous estate, flourishes on the clay-limestone soils of Echézeaux. This Pinot Noir, aged in new barrels, reveals aromas of cherry, blackcurrant and flowers, a mineral palate and silky tannins. To be enjoyed through 2040 with game or Peking duck.

To the eye: Deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky and luminous density.
On the nose: Freshness of black cherry and blackcurrant, evolving toward floral notes of iris and peony, underscored by a chalky and saline touch.
On the palate: Velvety texture, well-integrated tannins and lively acidity, underpinned by a taut minerality and a long, remarkably precise finish.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
