- Terroir: Chalky and clay-limestone soils of Champagne, where Pinot Meunier develops vibrant minerality and lasting freshness.
- Winemaking: A biodynamic approach, natural fermentation and patient aging preserve the purity of the fruit and the wine’s tension.
Tasting notes for Françoise Bedel Origin’Elle Extra Brut
Appearance: Golden color with green highlights, luminous and silky, like a veil of light over the fine bubbles.
Nose: Aromas of candied citrus (pink grapefruit and lime), crisp apple and hawthorn blossom, accented by a saline touch and a hint of damp chalk.
Palate: A lively, precise opening, driven by taut acidity and chalky minerality, leads to a long, fruity finish with notes of Williams pear and fresh almond.
Serve at 8–10 °C in a slender champagne flute to bring out its complexity.
