Leclerc Briant Cuvée Divine Extra Brut, born from the chalky soils of Champagne, unites Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier through biodynamic farming. Aged eight years on lees, it reveals notes of candied lemon, pear, and white flowers, underscored by a toasty minerality. On the palate, a creamy effervescence and lively acidity balance with a saline touch. Perfect pairings: fish and cheeses. To be served between 10 and 12 °C.
A family estate rooted in Épernay since 1955, Leclerc Briant embodies biodynamic boldness in Champagne – a legacy of precision and respect for the living.
- Terroir : 14 hectares of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus, chalky and clay-limestone soils of the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs, shaping wines of vibrant minerality.
- Vinification : Extended aging on lees, minimalist dosage, and meticulous blending to reveal the purity of the fruit and the tension of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Leclerc Briant Extra Brut Divine 2013
To the eye – A pale gold robe with vivid yellow highlights, of silky clarity, where fine bubbles trace a persistent and elegant cordon.
On the nose – First the freshness of lemon and Granny Smith apple, then the roundness of candied grape and pear, before opening onto smoky notes of clay, touches of wild blackberry, linden, and peony, all underscored by a discreet saltiness.
On the palate – A creamy effervescence envelops crunchy, ripe fruits, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, while the long, taut finish releases echoes of honey, musk, and licorice.
Serve between 10 and 12 °C in a tall champagne flute to preserve the aromatic complexity.

A vintage marked by slow, balanced maturity, where the mineral freshness of the chalky soils tempered the richness of the fruit.
