Tasting notes for Château Gruaud-Larose Gruaud Larose 1967
- Appearance : A garnet red robe with brick-toned highlights, dense and slightly veiled by time, revealing a silky texture and generous substance.
- On the nose : A complex bouquet blending aromas of candied blackcurrant, cedar, Virginia tobacco, and undergrowth, lifted by a saline note and a hint of liquorice.
- On the palate : A velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretching into a long and persistent finish, marked by silky tannins and a taut elegance.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.
