To the eye: A garnet robe with tawny highlights, of silky texture, slightly veiled by time.
On the nose: Aromas of candied black cherry, damp undergrowth, gentle liquorice and truffle, lifted by a saline and chalky touch.
On the palate: A velvety attack, lively acidity and persistent minerality, with a long and taut finish where gentle spices and notes of aged leather intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to appreciate its full complexity.
