To the eye: A garnet red robe with tawny reflections, of dense and velvety texture, betraying a maturity weathered by time.
On the nose: Aromas of candied black cherry, damp undergrowth, sweet liquorice and black truffle, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of blonde tobacco.
On the palate: A silky attack, lively acidity and melted tannins forming a full-bodied yet precise texture, carried by a chalky minerality and a long, slightly spiced finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
