A family estate rooted in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, where Burgundian heritage has been passed down through generations.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils, typical of the Côte de Nuits, shaping wines of a mineral elegance.
- Vinification: a traditional approach, respectful of the fruit and the terroir, yielding cuvées of rare precision.
Tasting notes for Domaine Nicole Lamarche Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Chaumes 1994
To the eye: a garnet red robe with tawny reflections, of a silky and slightly evolved texture.
On the nose: aromas of black cherry, damp undergrowth, liquorice and a touch of wild mushroom, lifted by a subtle chalky note.
On the palate: a velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a saline minerality, with a long and taut finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
