Tasting notes for Château Latour 1962
To the eye: Garnet robe with brick-red reflections, of a silky density and a brilliance preserved by time.
On the nose: Aromas of candied blackcurrant, blonde tobacco, aged cedar and undergrowth, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of graphite.
On the palate: Velvety texture, well-integrated yet present tannins, lively acidity and a long finish with notes of licorice and forest mushroom.
Serve at 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
