Born on the gravels of Pauillac, the Mouton Rothschild 1993 is a Premier Grand Cru Classé dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon. Its aromas of blackcurrant, leather and caramel, aged in barrels, precede a silky and mineral palate. Perfect until 2030, it pairs beautifully with red meats and aged cheeses.

Tasting notes for the wine Château Mouton Rothschild Mouton Rothschild 1993
To the eye: A garnet red robe with tawny highlights, dense and silky, betraying a harmonious maturity and a long ageing potential.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe blackcurrant intertwine with notes of aged leather, cold smoke and liquorice, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of cedar.
On the palate: A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretches into a long and taut finish, where gentle spices and dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
