To the eye: Deep garnet robe with brick-red glints, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, wild blackberry, cedar and blonde tobacco, lifted by a hint of graphite and a subtle iodine salinity.
On the palate: Velvety attack, fine and tight tannins, lively acidity and chalky minerality, leading to a long and taut finish marked by notes of liquorice and gentle spices.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
