The Château Lafite Rothschild 1992 in magnum, from the gravelly soils of Pauillac, is a refined red Bordeaux. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), it offers notes of blackcurrant and cedar, a silky palate, and a mineral finish. Ideal with game or aged cheese.

- Terroir : Deep gravel and limestone subsoil of Pauillac, bathed by the moderating influence of the Gironde estuary, lending the wines a distinctive minerality and rare elegance.
- Vinification : Hand-harvested grapes, fermentation in stainless steel vats and aging for 18 months in new oak barrels for a precise, silky structure and a pure expression of the terroir.

- To the eye : Garnet red robe with tiled reflections, of silky density and crystalline brilliance, betraying a harmonious maturity and a velvety texture.
- On the nose : Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and wild blackberry intertwine with notes of cedar, graphite, and blonde tobacco, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of licorice, evoking the depth of Pauillac's gravelly soils.
- On the palate : A tender and silky attack, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, while fine and elegant tannins extend into a long and persistent finish, where gentle spices and candied dark fruits mingle.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its bouquet.
