Lafite Rothschild 1992

Château Lafite Rothschild, the jewel of Pauillac, embodies the timeless elegance of the Médoc's premier crus classés. This 1992 vintage, in magnum format, is a blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), complemented by Merlot (25%), Cabernet Franc (3%) and Petit Verdot (2%). The unique terroir, composed of deep gravel and sand on a limestone subsoil, benefits from ideal exposure near the Gironde estuary. Hand-picked grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats and aged for 18 months in new barrels, giving the wine a refined structure. Despite a variable climate, this 1992 vintage seduces with its balance. On tasting, this red wine reveals aromas of blackcurrant, graphite and cedar, with hints of spice. Its silky texture and fine tannins promise a lingering finish. Ideal with game or mature cheese, this Lafite Rothschild 1992 in magnum is a treasure for Bordeaux lovers.
