Tasting notes for Château Lafite Rothschild 1992
- Appearance : Garnet robe with tawny highlights, of silky density and crystalline brilliance.
- On the nose : Aromas of candied blackcurrant, black cherry, freshly cut cedar and blonde tobacco, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of graphite.
- On the palate : Supple and velvety attack, melted yet present tannins, lively and mineral acidity, long and chalky finish with notes of liquorice and undergrowth.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full aromatic complexity.

A vintage marked by contrasting climatic conditions, where the estate's elegance transcends the challenges of the year.
- Aging potential : Ready to drink now, but can be cellared for another 5 to 10 years in a cool cellar (12-14°C) away from light.
